19 . 11 . 2009 - Happy Birthday Dad
It’s Mr Harrys dads birthday today. And he has spent the whole of yesterday walking around every shop in town hoping that something catches his eye. But Dads have everything! They need nothing. It seems that if a Dad wants something they just go and buy it. Can they offer it as a suggestion for their birthday? No they cannot. Can they leave it and say nothing and hope that their loving children will realise that’s the perfect gift? No they cannot. Selfish, especially after all the years of us telling them what we want, in maticulous detail, complete with argos product codes and page references
Anyway, the presents were eventually decided upon, purchased and wrapped to a sufficient “man wrapping a gift last minute” standard and delivered to the dad. And joy! The dad was well impressed. So much so, that he got ready to go out in the clothes bought for him whilst listening to the cd bought for him, on the phone to his mate talking about the book bought for him
It all went pretty well. It’s just a bitch that in a month Mr Harry is going to half to produce the same end product again for christmas
